Sunday evening, May 22, 2011, our church chartered Spokane's historic 1909 Looff carrousel in Riverfront Park.  Children and adults alike enjoyed one hour of free rides on the carrousel.  

This carrousel was first installed at Natatorium Park on Spokane's northwest side in 1909.  It was enjoyed there until the park closed in 1968.  Purchased and stored by the Spokane Parks Department, it was installed at Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane in 1975.  It has been enjoyed by thousands since then and is a key attraction at the park.
